Food Challenge consists of teams of 3-4 students who receive a list of ingredients and have 40 minutes to create a dish. The teams then present their dish to judges and are scored on preparation, serving size, food safety concerns, nutritional value, and cost. At the Food Show, you choose a recipe from the contest categories and then prepare and present it to a panel of judges. During your interview with the judges, you will show how you prepared it, the nutrients and ingredients, personal dietary needs, healthy substitutions, and a cost analysis. 4-H & FFA Exhibitors: Turkey Order Pick Up Turkey Order Pick Up Details: Date: Wednesday November 8th Time: TBD (Extension Office will call families day of with ETA) Location: Extension Office - 200 Stillwater Rd, Ste 102, Wimberley, TX 78676 Please bring your own pick up box, in the event boxes aren't available. All birds must be picked up on November 8th, no exceptions. If another family will be picking up birds on behalf of another, please let the Extension Office know before 11/8.
