Dinner Tonight

The Dinner Tonight program aims to provide healthy recipes for Texans and increase self-efficacy in meal planning, healthy cooking techniques, and food safety.

In Texas, poor nutrition in adults and children and high obesity rates leading to chronic disease are public health concerns for Texas A&M AgriLife. The Dinner Tonight program aims to provide healthy recipes for Texans and increase self-efficacy in meal planning, healthy cooking techniques, and food safety.

The program consists of in-person and virtual cooking school demonstrations and a web-based continuing education resource in the form of a website, social media, and direct to audience newsletters. The goal is to provide Texans with a reliable “go-to” resource for healthy recipes, nutrition information, healthy cooking techniques, food safety information, and more.
