How to Apply:

Go to the texas4hfoundation.org website and click “Scholarships” then select the type of scholarship you are interested in (i.e. Baccalaureate, Technical, Courageous Heart, or Collegiate). There will be an “Apply” button on each of the pages that will take you to the new Texas 4-H Foundation Scholarship Portal. You will then create a profile. Additional instructions on how to apply are available on each of the scholarship pages.

1. Applicants must have their application reviewed by their CEA and have their CEA complete the CEA Verification Form.  The applicant will need to upload this form with their application.  The form is available to print from the Foundation website under the “Apply” button on the Scholarship page or from within their application.

Ray Stoesser Memorial ScholarshipIn partnership with the US Rice Producers Association, the Stoesser family is offering a $5,000 scholarship to one deserving high school senior or current college student who is interested in or is currently pursuing a career in an agriculture-related field.
In addition to the monetary award, the selected recipient will serve as a student ambassador for USRPA in 2025, expecting to participate in at least two activities during the calendar year. The recipient will be invited to participate in various USRPA activities, including but not limited to Field Days, legislative activities, Texas Rice Council meetings, conferences, and more.
Specific criteria for selection:

Applicants should have the intention of pursuing a career in an agriculture-related field. Applications will be accepted from high school seniors, college students, and college graduate students.
In addition to completing the online application form, applicants should submit a self-produced video no longer than 5 minutes answering the following question:
What is your vision for the next generation of the U.S. rice industry? Please cover topics relevant to the future of the US rice industry, such as food security/safety, sustainability, etc. 		OPENDecember 6, 2024

Lockheed Martin STEM ScholarshipIn 2024, the STEM Scholarship Program will award $10,000 to 100 recipients studying an eligible STEM major at a 4-year college or university. Recipients may renew the scholarship up to three times for a total potential value of $40,000 per student.


Applicants to the Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship Program must meet the following eligibility requirements:

U.S. citizen
Demonstrated financial need
High school senior with a 2.5 or above GPA OR a freshman, sophomore, or a junior undergraduate student with a 2.5 or above GPA
Current or planned 4-year degree enrollment in the following majors:
Aerospace Engineering
Computer Engineering
Computer Science
Electrical Engineering
Electrical and Computer Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Mathematics
Physics
Current or planned full-time attendance at an accredited U.S. four-year college or university
Interest in a paid internship with Lockheed Martin following their freshman, sophomore or junior year of college, other circumstances notwithstanding (note: the internship is not required to receive a scholarship, and scholarship recipients are not guaranteed an internship)		CLOSEDApril 1, 2024
Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo Below is a list of information to be included with this completed application which must be
emailed on or before March 22, 2024:
 Official high school transcript (to include SAT or ACT score, GPA & Class Rank)
 A recommendation letter from your Principal or Counselor
 Two (2) letters of recommendation (other than family members)
 A one-page essay to include 1) reasons why you qualify for our scholarship or 2) what
accomplishments make you believe you are a good investment for receiving our scholarship.
You will submit your essay as a separate document (preferrable in .pdf form) when you submit
this application; the essay should be no more than one page and single spaced.

San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo FoundationEligibility Requirements:
• Member of 4-H or FFA
• Resident of Texas
• Must have participated in the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo (at least once)
• Satisfactorily complete the requirements for a high school diploma in the spring of the current
year.
• Enroll for a minimum of 12 hours per semester.
• Must have taken the ACT or SAT to be eligible.
• Scholarships must be claimed within one year of high school graduation or the scholarship will
be forfeited.
Scholarships are awarded as $1,000 per semester, with the ability to renew each semester for a total of
eight semesters, therefore totaling a maximum of $8,000.00. After the initial semester students must

Big Tex Scholarship Program- State Fair of TexasEach year, the Fair awards multiple $6000 scholarship to graduating high school seniors around the state who have participated in competitive youth livestock events held at the State Fair.
Recipients must attend an accredited trade school, college or university with the state of Texas and preference is given to those who pursue a degree in an agricultural- related field.
